For the lab that already loans a keyboard.
If your center demonstrates ergonomic or one-hand keyboards, you already know who on campus cannot look down at a board while they work.
Handex is an early one-handed mobile keyboard. The switches are placed on the finger actions, so the user does not lift a finger to a different key and does not look at the hand to aim. It is still a proof of concept: about 20 words per minute on the inventor’s own sentences, with inexpensive buttons. I am looking for an introduction to a user, not a budget line.
Reply with the person who should see it, or with the reason the lab is the wrong desk.
The same device, described for field counts, is on the field-notes page.
